Disabling "Use IDLE command if the server supports it" in Accounts > *your email account* > Advanced seems to fix the problem. Can someone confirm it please? Thanks!

I have around 20 rss subscriptions in my Google Reader. It takes around 4 minutes and maybe 5MB+ bandwidth to retrieve only 2 new articles. Is that normal?

"15 Apple employees are ready to listen and respond." Sounds great, but seriously... I haven't seen any recent responses from apple employees helping customers with Apple products. Seems like it's just another Apple forum.

Mail.app slow/delay IMAP synchronization

Using IMAP with Mail.app is so slow. Even if I set it to check the email every minute, sometimes I getting emails every 15 minutes. Pressing "Get Mail" doesn't retrieve the emails as well, I have to right click on the mailbox and choose "Synchronize *email address*" to get the latest emails! Even my iPhone can get emails faster.

I am using Mac OS X 10.5.6

Is it fixed? I am still having the problem, still have to wait for a long time at startup, not sure if has anything to do with the network speed...? Its getting slower and slower, may due to the increasing numbers of messages

Twinkle takes forever to startup?

Twinkle takes 20 secs to load up all my messages and posts every time I open the app, during that time my iPhone freezes and I can't do anything, not even quitting Twinkle. Is that normal?
