im wondering if it was our antivirus sw (f-prot) that was scanning the bt files and thus causing the problem?

    kurgan.dk reported a problem in BumpTop on October 08, 2009 21:12:

    kurgan.dk
    lag/hangs/lockups
on one machine I experience hangs (lag) when running BT..

its a quadcore with nvidia quadro so I doubt the machine is to blame...

also the gfx driver has been updated, that didnt change anything..

the system will become unresponsive, and sometimes the mouse will freeze for several seconds...

obviously BT is unuseable that way...
