If you recreate your iphone bookmark when you are at the new iphone home page then it should reload into the same window each time. The only time it won't work is if you leave the site navigated off the home page. Try this out and see if it solves your problem. -

iPhone dynamic URL - multiple ST's openIn v.1 your iPhone URL was the same start point. Therefore when I clicked on my iPhone Homepage badge it launched SocialThing in safari. If SocialThing was open (which it almost always is) it would simply refresh that Safari Page. Now it launches a "new window" and eventually I end up with 5 or 6 SocialThing instances.
Just a suggestion on most likely unintended side effect of loading a dynamic type url in the iPhone.
