Kurt Roswell replied on September 04, 2009 04:46 to the problem "My account has been suspended, mistakenly, please could you help get it activated again!" in Twitter:
Hello Modern Courtesan, as long as you are doing your Twitter advertising within reasonable bounds (i.e. not engaging in spammy behavior), Twitter would unsuspend your account=) Just post a ticket in Twitter and post here=)
As for the length, my account was unsuspended after 12 days=) So just be patient and trust Twitter=) It may take you shorter or longer, but it's really out of your hands right now=)
For the meantime, maybe this is an opportunity to explore other marketing strategies and ways to build your customer relations=)
Kurt Roswell gave praise in Twitter on September 04, 2009 04:42:

Kurt Roswell shared an idea in Twitter on August 23, 2009 13:25:
Twitter should send out a warning before suspending an accountIt's good that Twitter is putting up systems for catching spammers and bots. However, relentlessly suspending accounts indiscriminately is quite brutal. Honest people are paying for the lack of ethics of others.
Anyways, as my account @kurtroswell was suspended and based on other reports it would take weeks for it to be resolved, I suggest that Twitter provide warnings first before suspending an account. Tell us the reason so we can adjust and follow. If we don't comply, then suspend our account.
Again, honest people are losing credibility because of automated suspension. If you want to remove automated accounts and spammers, you can't do it with automated suspension and policing=)
Kurt Roswell reported a problem in Twitter on August 23, 2009 13:16:
I know many have reported this already, but my account got suspended as well.My account, @kurtroswell was suspended. Like everyone else, I am not a spambot. I provide personal tweets about web design, marketing, and life quotes. I do use some feed to provide a consistent stream of content but at a reasonable rate (1 feed per hour). I do need to sleep right?
I hope Twitter looks at this problem and reinstate my account coz I value my followers and I might lose credibility with my followers if they don't hear from me.
For the meantime, what can I do to help my account get reactivated faster?
