Gears and HTML5

What does Google intend to do with gears? Going forward, will google apps (gmail, google docs, google calendar and so on) be available with HTML5 offline storage? Will this replace Gears? Any timeline yet?

Pointing to the same cell phone is not allowed but pointing to the same home number is allowed, afaik. Make sure you tag the home number (land line) as such in both of your GV accounts.

As far as pointing to the same cell phone number is concerned, they might be concerned about account hogging. I guess Google might remove this requirement once Google Voice hits general availability (coming from Gmail's experience, may take a couple of years!) or it might stay as a requirement forever.
