Hrm, seems like that website is just selling bundles of free software, not sure if they just happen to provide access to their own 'premium' channels or something but they certainly don't provide the source code, so isn't that a GPL issue as well?... If they don't provide anything extra other than Miro I hate to say it but i think you very well may have been conned...
