Sorry to hear about the problems Ladderleagues.
I've noticed the same thing over the past couple of days, and I'm in process of updating our databases to be faster. I've got the support requests into our host, but they haven't got back to me with a timeline yet.
I'll post an update here when we have a timeline for additional capacity.
Sorry,
Scott

Using Ladderleagues while travelingWhat if I travel? Can I play in other cities and report the results in Ladder leagues?
Ladderleagues FAQ replied on April 30, 2008 19:30 to the question "Personal Information" in Ladder Leagues:
Ladder Leagues was designed from the ground up to never expose the email address of a user. You can share your address when issuing a challenge to another player, but this is not required. The site can coordinate all correspondence so that you never reveal this personal information. All members email addresses are verified before allowing them access to the site, and IP addresses are logged in the event of any problems. We do, however, share the details of your win/loss record on the site with others in your ladder.

Timeout or other error creating a new topic.Several times now I have had the system timeout when trying to post a new topic. It seems to just sit there with the busy button and eventually gives me the error page. This was me creating a topic for my own company/product, trying to seed some FAQ items.

Ladderleagues FAQ replied on April 30, 2008 02:50 to the question "Is LadderLeagues difficult to use?" in Ladder Leagues:
We don't think so, but if you find things confusing, we'll try to help. Of course, you can use this forum to get satisfaction as well! The average player only has to login to the site and type in the scores of each game played, and the system does the rest. Ladder administrators can work with a few additional functions to manage the ladder and configure scoring and other settings.

Ladderleagues FAQ replied on April 30, 2008 02:46 to the question "What if there is not a ladder for my town, club, office, or school?" in Ladder Leagues:
Then your area needs a leader!!! Start a ladder now and you can easily invite others to join and start play. There is no charge to create a ladder, and it is instantly available. Please search for a suitable ladder before creating a new one though, as bigger ladders lead to more diverse and fun play. Ladder Leagues also support private ladders, which can only be joined by invitation.
