finally got it fixed. don't know WHY or how.. but I did.
I re-did the photo and did it more like 200 kb..

jpg and I went from below the specified limit to far below that....... it made no sense that the smaller and smaller I made my photo, it kept telling me that it was too big-- and it was under 100 kb.
I don't deal in tif, png because those aren't photos. Tifs are too big and png are a type of graphic and gif is the in between.
now that's just nonsensical.

How frustrated do you think "we" are because anyone else who would have posted about the problem probably saw that there were this many people with the same issue and not a single reply.. would throw their hands up in the air and just say

Mashable is the website that built that app. They know it's down, they know their SITE is pretty well fried too..... so they are working on it. It's going to be days.. so start using tinyurl.com to create your own twitable url and then post it.

trying to twit my blog and other blogs that I have found that were really cool. also an interesting video and twitter isn't doing a TWIT THIS function. it goes to a page that just indicates that it doesn't work
regardless if I use the twit this from my links or from feedburner I get the same message shown below.
