Laura replied on August 26, 2009 19:43 to the question "Design needs to be tropical" in Six Apart:
Hi Joyce,
Thanks for sharing that link. It appears that the design for that blog is copyrighted, so we wouldn't be able to set you up with the same design.
However, we should be able to set you up with a similar type of design.
If you can let us know the URL of your TypePad blog, we can look at what you have currently and provide you with more information.
Thanks,
Laura

Hi Joyce,
Adding to what Kimmie said, the TypePad One team offers blog services of various kinds, including design services. Could you let us know the URL of your blog? That way, we can take a look at what you have currently and let you know what kind of design services we can offer you. We may be able to create a custom tropical design for you.
Thanks,
Laura

Hi Joan,
We replied on your help ticket so as not to reveal any of your personal information here at Get Satisfaction. Your account has not been hijacked or compromised. Rather, an older email address of yours was still stored in the database and due to a bug was displayed as your profile address rather than the current email address. We have fixed the underlying bug and are working to clear out the incorrect information.
We take your privacy seriously and are very sorry about the bug. We have been working as quickly as possible to fix it.
Thanks,

Laura reported a problem in Twitter on June 07, 2009 04:44:
"Twitter rate limit exceeded" error message constantly shows upI use Twitterfox as my primary Twitter client for reading and posting tweets. I also have Twitterrific on my iPod Touch. Starting on Friday evening, I started receiving an error message in both these clients that I was over the request limit. I am able to post from the clients but not receive new tweets from the people I follow. I have been using Twitterfox for almost two years, and Twitterrific for several weeks now and not had the problem before. I tried changing the password on my Twitter account to cut off any other clients that might be using the API to send requests on my account. However, as soon as I update the client with the new password, I immediately get the error message. I have set Twitterfox to only get updates every 10 minutes and Twitterrific not at all and have only tried refreshing it a couple of times today. Yet the error message is constant.
Right now, Twitter is basically not usable for me except on the Twitter.com website.
I checked http://twitter.com/account/rate_limit... while logged in to my account, and it shows 100 remaining hits this hour. So why the error message?

Laura replied on April 01, 2009 01:40 to the question "I just installed Typepad Connect..few questions" in Six Apart:
Hi Tara,
The TypePad knowledge base has some detailed information on the CSS classes used for TypePad Connect comments, which you can view at:
http://kb.typepad.com/id/1337
If you want to style your own comments as the weblog owner, you can do this using code like:
.comment-by-owner {color: red}
where you replace "color: red" with the styling you want to have. In order to do this, you will need to be at the Pro level or above in order to access TypePad's Custom CSS feature.
In regard to the comment feed, this currently isn't supported in TypePad Connect but our development team is working towards supporting it in the future. We appreciate knowing that you would find this feature valuable!
Finally, as for the "This comment has been deleted" message, this occurs when a comment is deleted that has replies. In other words, it is a placeholder for the now-deleted parent comment so that the replies do not become orphaned.
I hope this helps!
