I am cautiously optimistic that Sunbelt has solved my problem. Things seem okay now, running defs 3035. At times it still seems to be using too much processor to match the claims made when I purchased it but it is no longer rendering my computer unusable. Hopefully, we won't have a repeat of the problem with future updates. Thanks for getting it handled this time.

Vipre using 100% of CPU, update 5024Vipre worked fine during the trial phase but now that I have purchased it (currently have update 5024), it is using 100% of my system resources, rendering my computer entirely unuseable. This looks to be a common problem. I do use TBird for email and have had problems with it with Vipre but the issue is there even when only Vipre is running. Is it possible to get a refund? This just isn't working out!!!-

I had same problem. I re-set up my email accounts in TBird then manually pointed the account (by browsing) back to the original mail folders. My mail is back! Actually it was never gone... I just couldn't get it.
Right now I have Vipre turned off. It is the only way my computer is functional. This is a huge bummer since it worked great... UNTIL I paid for it! I even bought a site license. Boy do I regret it. Can I get my money back?-
