Hi,
I am afraid I cannot currently check the warranty status of devices as this is not my department (I am doing the work on this site in my own time) but I would suggest giving TomTom support a call, the number for your location can be found at the link below.

If that does not help, your device is out of warranty or I can help you with anything else then please do come back. Sorry for the wait on the reply, I am just catching up now on the questions here.
Good luck :)

Hello,
So first of all let me say sorry for TomTom not offering a repair service. I sadly at the moment cannot say that it is a service we are going to offer in the near future.
However on a more up note I did have a look around and quite a few companies are offering TomTom repair services. The joys of the free market, if there is demand there is most likely going to be supply.
Below I have included two links I found from a quick google search. If these are not helpful please let me know.

I hope this helps, I understand how frustrating it can be. I dropped my first Palm Treo 650 a day or so after getting it while I was on holiday to a different country, so I did not even have my old handset :S While Palm offer a repair service I found a replacement screen from some random company on google much cheaper :)
Take care.-

lazzurs replied on May 22, 2008 14:16 to the question "no longer receiving sms messages" in Twitter:
I have found that this appears to be twitter turning off updates if it cannot get an SMS to your device.
The annoying thing is this is not reflected in the status info on the web site. The quick fix is just to send 'on' to the twitter number and device updates are turned on again.
Why going to the web interface and turning updates on does not work I have no idea. I guess the system that is cutting off the updates because of the undeliverable message is not updating the backend db? But that is just a total guess.
Hope this helps.
