As far as I know the problem is with the Spotify App itself, Not the Ipod. The volume level works fine when playing mp3's. It's just spotify itself that has poor volume control. – Lee, on September 24, 2009 15:23

Yes but the maximum volume is set too low. Even with spotify set to the maximum volume it is not loud enough.

I have downloaded the app for Ipod touch.
Unfortunately the maximum volume is too low.
I have the volume of the app set to maximum but it isn't loud enough
Is there any way to increase the maximum volume level?
