Same problem here. Mac user too. :(
Also another problem is the keyboard, it works different for example to select text on writing, on mac using Option + Shift + arrows you can select by words, in Twhirl that not works. But it's not that annoying like the links issue.

I think I would choose Twitterrific again if it continues to open in a new window.

Twitter's track command has been of line for months (though we've been promised that it will return some day).

In the meantime, Twitter user @RyanK has written TweetTrak, which converts selected tweets (i.e. those containing keywords of your choice) into direct messages sent to you, though there is a time delay.

If you follow http://twitter.com/TweetTrak it will follow you back and is then ready for use.

TweetTrak differs in some ways from Twitter's track command, and may fulfil some of your needs.

TweetTrak is not currently in full working order, but @RyanK and Twitter are trying hard to resolve this.

while you're at it, add scandinavia characters like å, ä & ö as well please! I use them very often, and it's kinda boring to have to resort to html-code every time someone has a namne that includes the above characters. It shouldn't be that hard to implement i think.

You can now do this with search.twitter.com. Search for @username and then they provide an rss feed that updates with changes. In reality you can get a search feed for any topic you want.

Problem reseting password!

I've received an invite long time ago and started to use it, but after rebuild my computer I forget to install again. And now I wanted to install it again but I can't remember my password, when I try to "reset my password" I get this error:

No password hint found. Maybe you never defined one.



But if I haven't defined a password hint how can I reset my password??

Can I recover my account? Or please delete it and invite me again?

Hi sfcitygirl. Yes, Track is still offline. You can check the status anytime by going to the Twitter Status blog at http://status.twitter.com and looking at the right sidebar.

You'll see that Track is highlighted in red. When you hover your mouse over the word "Track," additional info appears: "offline. Needs reworking"

Is this still an issue? I am tracking a few different things. But the only thing I receive directly to my phone are DMs and those who I have elected to have those tweets sent to my phone for. I am not receiving any notification on items that I am tracking. (And I still haven't done anything IM related, so that is not the issue.) Is there some sort of setting I have to check in order to receive these on my phone via SMS?

Hi. Yes, Track is currently offline and needs to be reworked before it can come back, according to the Twitter Status blog.
