Compiling Songbird on Ubuntu PPC?

Is it possible right now to build Songbird on a PPC build of Ubuntu right now? I've seen that older Mac versions existed, but none seem to mention Linux builds that would work on a Macbook using a PPC build of Ubuntu.

When using iTunes on Windows I could set up system-wide working shortcuts for various options using the little tool called iTunesKeys. This was especially useful since not every keyboard comes with a 'next track' button, plus rating songs while you hear them instead of having to open the app is simply amazing.

However, I haven't found a Songbird-equivalent for this feature yet; does something similar exist yet?
