Lei's dashboard

I would like to plurk using Yahoo Messenger so I went to this page: http://www.plurk.com/IM/showIM

I already added plurk_buddy2 as my friend on YM and then sent my username but I keep on receiving this response: To proceed please add me to your contact list.

What did I do wrong? Is there something I missed out to do?
