A comment on the question "Yum configuration???" in Cloudera:

You guys actually already have a cloudera-repo rpm. But it's not mentioned in the "installing with yum"-instructions. I rolled my own an thought I was in for a nice smooth install.. But no, needs sun official jdk, openjdk wont do *grrr* Working around this or sending a ptch to openjdk would be much nicer than signing the rpms. – Leif Bergman, on September 15, 2009 13:21

Why don't you package the info on the "installing with yum"-page??? I.e. create a cloudera-repo rpm and provide a linkt to and have the package install the repo info...

BTW, why are the rpms unsigned? You lazy bastards! ;-)
