A comment on the idea "Hootsuite iPhone app" in HootSuite:
Given the fact that you don't have an iPhone, I don't think you realize how handy it would be to have a HootSuite-specific app. TweetDeck for the iPhone is pretty slick, but you can't tie in your HootSuite account at all, and it's a mess to try to go from one window to the next for URL shortening, tweet posting, etc., and then of course you don't really have the analytics. A mobile version of the site could work, but the apps almost always look and function better, probably because they're done more for the iPhone itself, rather than all mobiles, of which most poorly handle the web (with a few exceptions), and so things get designed accordingly. – Lelia Katherine Thomas, on October 14, 2009 05:50

A comment on the question "I have more than 50 users to add!" in HootSuite:
Would it not be possible to do something similar to what TweetDeck does to limit the calls to the API? As in, rather than updating the whole column, just do a search for new tweets from your followed list every so often. – Lelia Katherine Thomas, on August 25, 2009 02:38

I have more than 50 users to add!Will groups ever support more than 50 users? I have an art group, for instance, and a ton of the users I follow fall in line with that category. I want to add them all to that column, not split them up into Art1 and Art2, which will be less manageable for me.
Lelia Katherine Thomas reported a problem in Slife Labs on June 21, 2009 18:19:
Some timezones (I'm +10.) are severely disadvantaged, it seems.It appears that if you have a slightly "abnormal" timezone, you may find yourself quite disadvantaged. I'm in Melbourne, Australia (timezone +10), and my Slife web stats are reported on the day before, not on my present day. I'm assuming this must be a timezone issue, considering there's no way for me to set any preferences for that.
When I go to Slife Web, it auto-detects the date from my computer, but then my stats are being placed on the day before. Very, very frustrating!
Anyone else having this issue?-

Aughadan's reply to "Add-ons not uninstalling" was just promoted to the most useful! Lelia Katherine Thomas and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
Aha, I found an old topic about this that has the solution:
1. Go to your profile folder.
2. Delete the following files:
* extensions.ini
* extensions.cache
* extensions.rdf
3. Restart Songbird.
Full instructions are halfway down the page here: http://getsatisfaction.com/songbird/t...
Worked for me. Finally got those add-on uninstalled.-

Lelia Katherine Thomas asked a question in Songbird on December 11, 2008 03:06:
Where can I place album art on my computer, so that Songbird auto-detects it?Currently I save all my album art in a folder in My Pictures. (That is partly because I do not keep the traditional My Music > Artist Name > Album Name folder and file structure for my mp3s, though I do have album art named appropriately.) I can't seem to find anything that will allow Songbird to pick up the art automatically, however, so I have been pasting in artwork for various albums, when I feel like it.
Is there a better way to go about this? Can Songbird auto-detect artwork somewhere on my computer? I'd be happy to move my files there, rather than paste them in, individually!
Thanks. :)-

This seems to have worked. I hadn't wanted to try this (losing preferences sucks), but yes, it'd come to deleting the profile, and it did indeed work. Thanks, Eldon. :) – Lelia, on September 01, 2008 21:55

I'm having this problem as well since upgrading to the 0.7 version. I have tried rescanning the library, but that did not work, and like the OP, I have not moved any files to cause a problem. They're all the same MP3 files they were when I played them with the 0.6 version earlier today. I am using Windows XP SP2.
I also tried running in Safe Mode, with all add-ons disabled. It isn't an add-on issue.
Lelia replied on July 21, 2008 09:50 to the question "Your pin is invalid" in Twitter:
I'm in Australia and have to use the UK number. This happened to me as well, forcing me to set a PIN I didn't want/need. This seems to be an international number problem, if any conclusions can be gleaned from some of the comments here.
It'd be grand if someone with some knowledge on the matter would reply. :|
