I have hotmail and I keep trying but it keeps telling me something is technically wrong! It's driving me mad!

Well, I can see why this could be very low on your to-do lists as it isn't really related to what RescueTime mainly is -- time management software.

People need to know if they have spent time on blogs when they were supposed to be writing a report, not how much bytes were transferred during 'their straying from the path' :P

However I do think this data would be found useful by some users. If it gets included into the main program is up to the dev team, but I for one would love if an 'extension' or add-on to RT would do this.

Is that what the developer API aims to do?

Whoa-- that's an interesting idea.

I think the data would be darn interesting, but it's probably going to be a long time before we could attack something like that, just because it's an entirely different value proposition than time management. I can definitely see the value, though. And I can definitely see the time where we look around and say, "Ya know, we've pretty much gone as far as you can go with time management software. What could we layer onto this that might have complementary value?"

So, don't hold your breath. But don't be surprised if you see it someday!
