then I think it's a firewall problem. I guess router block traffic on Qik specific port and don't allow to establish connection. try on different wifi network.

Hi,

You don't have to set any options for WiFi in Qik.

Once your device connected to WiFi it will use current connection.

If WiFi not available it will try to connect 3g/GPRS. IF you not willing to pay for GPRS traffic in next comming build there is an option "offline mode".
You can disable connectivity and your video will be stored locally on device. Once you found free wifi spot you can switch to online and your videos will be uploaded. We planning to roll out this feature next week. Stay tuned for updates

Qik is not record & upload application.
If you see uploading label that means not all media data was streamed
because your network bandwidth was not enough for outgoing media bitrate.
After stop it continues upload video to protect quality for your clip.

Previous versions for BJ basicly did the same but didn't show anything except streaming.

Hi Sapientum ,

We are aware about this issue but currently don't know how to resolve it. We can't change video orientation on-the-fly when keyboard is slides. And currently it is possible only use app without unfolded keyboard. We really want to fix this issue
and we will keep trying.
