when I send a tweet via cellphone it does not show up on the time line

when I send a tweet via cellphone it does not show up on the time line(s). A couple of minutes ago i sent some txts to wsvn and NewsMiami about the weather. I could not see them on the time lines. Also I sent a txt about a promotion by Wyndham Resorts to adventuregirl and nothing showed up... I tried with @ and d several times and nothing... What am I doing wrong.. Any advice or tips greatly welcomed... Larry
