It actually should, as it helps make it explicit to the user that most of what they are posting is PUBLIC which is an issue that has arisen (personally, I once asked Pownce for a refund here on GetSat which was not something I really ment to do publically) -- so this does solve the issue I had. Yes, please don't misunderstand me. I mean that we may hold flagged content aside while we review it. But, we do not have plans to turn moderation over to company reps, for example. I hope that I've understood your idea, but please correct me if I have gotten anything wrong.

I've got a similar problem as well. Using AT&T wireless with an older nokia 6620. I get sms from google and other phones but twitter will not work. I get no response from the on command however I can post. I've deleted the phone and settings several times yet always get "We tried to send an SMS update to your phone but we couldn't reach you."

Any thoughts on what could be wrong?

To clarify, though, we don't have plans for content to be held for moderation BEFORE publication. As Eric mentions above, we are considering the idea of flagged content being hidden temporarily until Get Satisfaction moderators have a chance to review it and determine if it qualifies for removal or not. However, external company reps will not be able to remove users' content from GS. That is intrinsic in our "Switzerland" model.

But also, as Eric mentions, we will be providing some additional fields for private information when posting topics. Only official reps from a given company will be able to view that private information so that people can safely post it. Hopefully this feature will serve the need you have.

I agree that the situation is unfortunate. more so because of the the overly heavy-handed terms Apple has inflicted upon at&t. I recently joined the usability team at at&t mobility and while I tend to share your view of at&t (and all cell carriers in general) I have had a very up close and personal experience with the apple mandate within at&t. In short, at&t was so desperate to carry the iphone they sold their, and our, control over the plan structure for an iSong.

My suggestion is to hold off on any iphoneuntil after the 2nd version and after it's unlockable without having to jailbreak it. Hopefully a competitor with an opensource mentality will come along and cater to the user community more effectively.

On a side note, I joined the at&t mobility team to work on the microsoft surface table experience. Apple made it very lear early on that they will never, ever permit an iPhone to interact with the Surface interface. They are very nearly violent about the issue. Sometimes I feel like an ant caught in a thanksgiving parade route when these overweight mega-ego companies get going at eachother.

I bought the nokia n95 8g. not a touch interface but a seriously cool phone just the same.

Now that you mention it, it does sound like the second option doesn't come with CSS (you'd have to be a css genius to add your own).

Let's change these titles. How about "Simple code (Just drop this into your site, it will adopt your site's styles and blend right in.)" and "Advanced code (Comes with customizable CSS styles.)"

I was just confused by your wording, figured the one that says 'you're a css genius' meant you needed to know css to use that one, not that it came with some css for it. Terminology just seems backwards to me and I was pointing it out to you guys.

What browser are you using? Do you mean that the text fields are laid out next to each other on the page?

As Cameron points out, the simple version "drop it on my blog" doesn't come with any css because it conveniently will adopt the styles of any page that it's put on.
