Exact same issue, and it's driving me insane. Like Kenop, for me it's only certain people... seems to be happening with anyone new that I add now.

same thing here, only with certain people I'm following.. I've even turned OFF @reply notifications completely but I still see EVERY @reply they make to anyone. I think it happens with anyone I've followed through Twinkle (iphone app)

Hopefully this will be corrected soon before the in/out boxes for DMs get out of control with an insane amount of messages since there is no 'delete all' feature. Having to delete one by one....oi!
