I have a treo 650. SMS didn't work for me when I first tried, but I have web access so just went to m.twitter.com. Works fine that way, and I am unlimited web so no worries about the number of posts.

First of all, who made me a cupcake..... :-( Just remembered, I have 3rd party texting blocked on my phone. Maybe that is why I can't verify my phone. I am not going to turn it off, so I guess I can't use this service. Please let me know if that could be the reason.

thank you for this info. i have been very frustrated the past 3 weeks because of twitter not working all of a sudden. one call to sprint and all was fixed!

apparently this was an issue with my shortcodes with Sprint. Frustrating as it has been, this is fixed now

Hello. Were you able to use Twitter with your phone successfully prior to July 17? Meaning, you were able to send updates and you were able to receive sms from Twitter?

If yes, is it possible that your mobile provider has turned off short codes for your mobile account (assuming that you are using one of the Twitter shortcodes)?

I have not been able to send any tweets from my mobile or receive any tweets since July 17. I have emailed and submitted help tickets about this, and only get back generic help replies that do not help at all. I have tried to remove my mobile number and add it again, and text the confirmation code, but am getting no confirmation reply back.

Can someone from Twitter please help with this. It has been an ongoing issue for 3 weeks now.

I have not received any tweets on my phone since last Thursday, and the tweets I sent from my phone never hit my account. I tried to reset my mobile over the weekend, and texted the verify code, but never received a confirmation text in reply. I have tried to delete my mobile and start over about 4 times now and still the same.

I have sent 2 requests for help to Twitter but have received no reply. Has this happened to anyone else? Can anyone help me?
