BTW, this is still a problem using Firefox on a mac. Converts oddly. Will work around with tinyurl but be nice to have a fix!!-

You can add templates to the list that appears when you create a new page (by tagging a page with the word "template" -- no quotes), but we don't currently have a way of automatically setting a default template. Sorry! -
