Hi harbino,
Just checked the DNS records for www.main-dss.co.cc and they are set correctly (with a A-record) and resolve to the SynthaSite server. What's more is that when I go to http://www.main-dss.co.cc it lands on your SynthaSite page, so there is nothing more you have to do - it is all set up and working.

Thank you for reporting this - you have discovered a bug (software defect) in the system. I am able to recreate the problem using a domain that I have successfully published to.
Luckily it does not affect the functioning of the system and your site will continue to work well under the domain you have published it to - it is just saying that it is invalid when in fact it is not. We will make sure this is fixed as soon as possible.
We love getting rid of bugs, so thank you for your help.

Paul, try linking to this: http://www.candeez.co.uk/
Also, try typing that url into your browser (not via google).
I suspect it will not work.

Candeez,
Who is your domain registrar and where did you create the record that points candeez.co.uk to our IP address?
You will have to create one that points www there as well.
This will mean you will have two A-Records:
1. candeez.co.uk --> 208.75.208.172
2. www.candeez.co.uk --> 208.75.208.172
Depending on who your registrar is these can look different - some make you put the full domain in like this:
www.candeez.co.uk --> 208.75.208.172
Others just the prefix like this:
www --> 208.75.208.172

Hi todd,
If I understand your question properly, then it is not possible.
Your SynthaSite needs to be created in the Site Builder. You can then choose to publish it to the SynthaSite servers and have it hosted there for free. You can use a SynthaSite domain or your own.
You can also choose to download it and the upload it (FTP) to another hosting provider.
There is no way to link your published SynthaSite to some other source of content, other than through content widgets at site creation time.
Please take a look at our tutorials at http://www.synthasite.com/support.

Hi joyce,
How did you make it into a web page, and what does 'filtered' mean? What format is the resulting file - what file extension does it have?
I must admit I am a bit confused as to what you are describing.
When you say that you open it and get a picture holder screen, is that before or after you have published the site?
What is the URL of your published site so that we can check out what you mean?
lisaretief replied on April 15, 2008 11:17 to the question "Can I make people pay?" in Yola:
Hi Trevor,
You can charge people for your services any time, and of course they will have to decide whether it is worth it to them or not.
At this stage we do not have a 'certified' network of people we endorse as excellent at making SynthaSites - we may look at such a system in the future. Personally I think it could be a great opportunity for any one wanting to help others create websites.
Just be warned that we intend to make the Site Builder and associated services so easy to use that you will have to become very good in order to add value on top of that.
Good luck, and welcome on board as a SynthaSite user!
