Can't login to twitter/change password

I can't login to my twitter account by the web or most third party apps. I can't change the password because I don't have access to the email I signed up with any longer...why can't I login via twitter and third party apps such as seesmic, mixero and others??? Please help!!@freedom4usa I've had this problem since mid day on Tues, Oct 6. Thanks, please help!!

I haven't been able to send a ping.fm post for quite awhile. I stopped using it because of this. Thought I'd try again and it still is not working. I got a recent email that said I need to add social networks but I have added social networks to my account and it still won't work even if I post from the ping.fm site. I would like to use the service to post via email but it won't work! Help please!!

I'm not sure if I'm missing tweets but my tweets are not showing up on several of my followers pages and I am in their list of followers. I'm new to twitter but disappointed things aren't working like they should.
