Do you currently support budgeting? If so, where is that feature? Which menu?

This would be a problem if Transfers were posted as Expenses in Account Transactions page. That would this problem too. Good luck!

I think the Transfers are severely messing up the Account Transactions page! My Balances are all off, and the category shows "Regular Income," even on transfers. This is a deal-breaker if not fixed. I need my Reports to show accurate balances, or there is no point to any of the reporting.

I need Income Categories. The problem with tagging is only that it's not available on the current Account Transactions page. If I could set tags on that page, I could handle not having income categories.

How do I auto-tag an expense category?

I'd like to view all my expense categories grouped into 4 major groups of expense categories, so I can compare the groups; but I do not want to tag alllll those expenses. How can I do that?

Can I tag all the transactions in an expense category at one time, and have that tag automatically added to all future expenses in that category?

Can I import from my banks further back in time than what is downloaded automatically? I'd like to get transactions imported into Less from all the way back to January 1st.

Or, even better, automatically importing from my banks' websites back to Jan 1. Is this possible? If so, how? If not, what formats should I use to import from Capital One and BoA?

Hey Bart!!!
Only my highrise sync works, which is 143 out of 5,000 active contacts.
Today, I tried another Gmail sync and it looks like it worked.

I get sync errors when I do a either a Mac Sync or a Phone sync with Soocial. That's why I think its an error with having so many contacts. What's the most number of contacts that you've ever tested Soocial with?

I tried this today:
1. Mac Sync
I am trying to sync the 5000 contacts from Mac to Soocial, since I had to download them from Plaxo, since Plaxo has the latest copy plus the Plaxo-Gmail sync doesn't work either!!! So I need to merge the Soocial-Gmail addressbook with the Mac addressbook.

The latest copy is on Mac Addressbook.

The Mac sync errors out without adding any contacts from the Mac to Soocial:
One time, the error was 'Error sending msg 0 receiving msg 1.' And anytime I sync, I get "resolve duplicates" window on the mac, then it still says "Never Synced yet" and the contacts are not in the Soocial addr book.
Please check the log.

I tried this 3-4 months ago:
2. Phone Sync
I tried the phone sync from soocial to my phone, using the SyncML tool. It would do about 1800 contacts, and then crash out with half the contacts moved onto the phone, and half not.

Hi,
I have tried both a phone sync and mac sync with my 5,000+ addressbook. Both times, the Sync crashes completely.

Can you guys debug large-addressbook syncs, and roll out some updates asap?

I am unbelievably happy!

1. I found SyncML for my Palm Centro, even though soocial said SyncML wasn't supported. That was here:

2. I installed it OTA in 2 minutes.

3. I went to the manual Soocial install tip here: http://getsatisfaction.com/soocial/to...

4. I added that, and hit "Start Sync" on my phone. And it WORKED!

If soocial says your phone isn't supported, there is still hope!!! Google "syncml" and your phone os or phone name. Find syncml OTA install instructions for your phone. And then use the Manual Soocial install to finish the job!

Okay now... no breaking, okay?!! :-)
