If posting to a certain service isn't working, then why doesn't Ping tell me that?

I recently found out that none of my Tumblr pushes were going through, I figured out that it was because I had changed my email address, but wouldn't it make sense if the dashboard told me somehow that my pushes weren't going through?

Like a red X icon or something, or "Broken" could appear next to Tumblr in red or something.

I don't know, anything except for appearing to be fine would be nice.
