Recommendation list?Is it possible to see, overall, who has gotten the most recommendations? I may or may not follow them but it would be interesting to see who people take time to recommend.

Liz started following the question "Why can't I search people's bios and real names anymore?" in Twitter.
Liz gave praise in TweepSearch on April 10, 2009 11:28:
Twitter once did this, I'm glad someone else has nowThis is great! Twitter use to have Bios searchable but discontinued this last summer. I've missed it! Thanks for creating this tool. I understand you want to make some money but I don't like that you can buy your rank. Please highlight paid rankings and limit them to maybe one or people will tire of scrolling down list.

You should give credit to the first person on a list of names! The first person on a list of recommendations for #FollowFriday shouldn't be penalized just because of they are the first on the list! Or, if you're going to do that, let people submit URLs for Tweets where clearly it was a #FF list and they were not intended to be the recipient of the message. The order of names should matter, it's usually random (at least when I write my #FF recommendations, it is!).
And, no, because of this I do not start a #FF message with a person's username but most people still do.-

Liz replied on March 12, 2009 23:37 to the question "Am I missing the point?!" in Twitter:
There is often a link underneath that says "in response/reply to". Click that link and you can see what message the person is responding to. Or click on the @name the message is directed at to see what they've been talking about.
You reply back privately with a Direct Message and you can only DM people who are following you.
You're not missing anything, you just have to get used to working with the system that exists. It's not perfect, people work around the problems that exist.

Revive the Twitter Wiki! The Twitter wiki needs some serious work and updating. How about promoting it in your company blog and get some new contributors? There is a lot of work to do.
Liz replied on January 27, 2009 11:44 to the idea "Don't require public tweeting of recommendations." in Mr. Tweet:
I'd like it to be a separate DM that informs Mr.Tweet & the person recommended. My whole Twitter list doesn't notification when I recommend someone. But I can see why you thought that would be useful. It can just be a bit awkward. I'd also like to recommend some users who aren't following your account...would that be possible?-

Trying to access Twitter.com causes a file to download?I'm trying to access Twitter.com but I get a pop-up window saying warning me that a file is about to be downloaded. What is up with Twitter? Has a virus infected the system?
A comment on the update "People Search is Disabled. Can't find my Friends!" in Twitter:
You're very helpful but it would be nice if someone from Twitter communicated with their users. They've outsourced customer service to their own users. – Liz, on November 23, 2008 22:42
