You make a really good point. Since BarCamp is so distributed, it's hard to stay on top of everything that's going on... and since no one has stepped up to be an "editor" of the blog, I suppose it's consequently languished.

There are actually probably about 20 authors on the blog, so it's not that there aren't folks who could be writing -- I think it's just that people are focused on more on local efforts, or tweeting, or on using their own blogs.

I wouldn't be opposed to retiring the blog, but I guess since there is no "organization", I'm not sure how it makes it look "dead"...
