I think this would be in Amazon's best interest - it will also give folks who for whatever reason don't subscribe to Netflix, another option for legal streaming movies. Does Amazon do the streaming video service in other countries as well? The internationalization aspect would also be a good reason to go for it. -

Unless there are tv's out there that have bluetooth or something...
You'd need some kind of device that would take the video out from your computer and transfer it to your tv.

But, that one's not HD. I tried a different wireless transmitter (also not digital or HD) and didn't get good quality. -

Fancast, Funimation, The Anime Network, ABC (plugins/apps)Just some plugins I'd like to see. Funimation's new streaming content is great. They've got a lot of shows on the site, much more than they're airing on their cable channel.
I've never gotten The Anime Network/ADV's content to work (seems to think I'm outside of the US even though I live in the Mid-Atlantic region and use Verizon as my internet access).
ABC is currently the one commercial US broadcast network that we don't have on Boxee (since Fox and NBC are on Hulu, and CBS is it's own app).
And, Fancast has some content that Hulu, Veoh, and Joost don't have.
Any cable network that you guys can partner with or create an app for would be great - History, National Geographic Channel, TBS/TNT, Turner Classic Movies etc.I guess it would be too much to ask for premium channels to partner with you, but hey, Starz did partner with Netflix!
