A comment on the idea "Ping.fm integration! :)" in atebits:
You can do it with the Plurk FB app as well.
In case it wasn't clear, in order to update your FB status tweetie would need a FB app. FB doesn't allow you to update status without it. They have that stupid link sharing shit like what digg uses to update FB, but its just not the same. – llbbl, on August 13, 2009 15:39

your response is not exactly clear.
I know you can update your FB status with the Twitter FB app, but you know hey what, maybe I don't want all my FB updates to come from twitter.
The whole point of ping integration is if your going to allow people to update multiple networks why do them separately when you can do ping and cover them all. – llbbl, on August 13, 2009 15:39

I would be happy if there was a tweetie FB app that updated FB status like Seesmic. That is the main reason I was wanting ping integration. – llbbl, on August 13, 2009 15:25-

PVP Kill vs Escape %How is the chance for someone to escape getting killed calculated? Does it depend on level of attacker vs defender or does it have something to do with the HP of defender?

Maybe it has something to do with how he has integrated ID into his site. Is gavin running WP on the rails site? – llbbl, on June 16, 2009 18:32

I fixed it for my site by changing my preferences in safari. Attached is a image of what the settings are now.

I changed the settings to "Always" instead of "Only from sites I visit". This still does not resolve the issue why it was working before on other sites and not mine using the same browser. How does safari determine sites that I visit?
There is no way that these sites changed the ID cookie so it appears it comes from their site ... right?

llbbl replied on June 16, 2009 17:32 to the question "massive amounts of spam coming up to moderate on ID." in IntenseDebate:
I installed a separate plugin to help with the increased amount of trackback spam that occured after installing the ID plugin. I would recommend one called "Simple Trackback Validation". You should be able to add and install it from the "Add New" link in your dashboard.
I also had this problem, back in January 2009, with increased trackback and non-trackback spam after installing the ID plugin. It seemed as if the plugin was not running comments through Akismet. I enabled the must be registered ID user setting and it solved things for a while.
I have since disabled the setting and the spam has not returned to previous levels. I don't know what the company has done to improve things, but it has certainly improved since about 5 months ago when this was originally posted.

Can't login to post comments on my site with SafariUsing the latest intensedebate wp plugin I can't login to post comments on my own site and yet I can login to intensedebate on other sites (using Safari). This only occurs using Safari on my site while it works fine on Firefox. I am using OS X.
Is there something that I need to do on the server side to fix the third party cookies? I found this topic from months ago that relates to it and yet is unresolved.

Any help from the community on what they did to get the plugin to work for safari on their own site?
