I upgraded to the community maintained version
http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/ without any problem because Gimp requires that version.

Lloyd Budd shared an idea in Songbird on July 04, 2008 15:10:
How about having Songbird added to Vorbis.com/software?Just setting up a new Mac Book Pro, and a friend sent me a dot ogg file (ogg vorbis audio fmt). I went to http://www.vorbis.com/software/#macosx and was disappointed by the options, then I thought to install Songbird and try to play the file. I was very happy with the result!
How about having Songbird added to Vorbis.com/software?
And when you feel Songbird is ready, FSF should be encouraged to switch their recommendation from VLC - http://www.fsf.org/resources/formats/...

App with different distributors?Updates: X11 2.1.1 Version 2.2.3 is available
is an interesting scenario, because the current version is distributed by Apple, whereas the new version is a community supported release. I wonder if the AppFresh UI should suggest this some how?
lloydbudd reported a problem in metaquark on July 04, 2008 05:16:
AppFresh seems to show 3 Software Updates that I don't need?On a freshly installed new MBP running Mac OS X 10.5.4 Build 9E17, AppFresh lists three Software Updates available:
iLife Support 8.2
Java For Mac OS 10.5 Update 1 1.0
Mac OS X Update Combined 10.5.4 (r10)
But outside of AppFresh, running Software Update... shows no updates. Do I need these updates? How do I check what version of these I'm currently running? How do I remove these updates?

We hear you Cameron, I'll be working on adding OpenID login to every page with a login form. I'll keep you all posted! – Joel Franusic, on May 05, 2008 21:03

This is great Rachel -- it just didn't make sense to offer OpenID, which I'd like to use to signin to PBWiki, and then to not offer it on pages that require me to signin! I think this is really about managing expectations and being consistent. Thanks! – Chris Messina, on May 04, 2008 03:38

Yeah, I knew that that was there, but it's kind of a) hidden (what happens if you have images turned off?) and b) not available when logging in to particular wikis...! – Chris Messina, on May 04, 2008 03:37

I'm pretty sure the feature request is exactly what everyone wants. In fact, it seems that Chris and Guy remember OpenID being available as an option for login on each wiki, not just at my.pbwiki.com.

Hi Cameron- you got it! The way OpenID has been set up, you log in at my.pbwiki.com and then go to your wikis. If you take a look at Joel's original blog post (http://blog.pbwiki.com/2008/04/09/tir...) it was set up to ease access to your PBwiki Account but not placed directly on wiki log in pages.
Has someone experienced it differently? Furthermore, would you like to see this support on individual log-in pages? I can definitely make this feature request if there's a need.
