bllix, you're right. I was pretty annoyed when i had to figure out why this was happening the first time round...

It's a work in progress -- they're looking to integrate this into thunderbird also.

You can already.

Type "search ______ with [installed_search_engine_name]"

Eg/ search bob with facebook (if you have the facebook search installed in your your firefox).

You need to have a gmail tab open before you use the gmail ubiquity command. That way the html will be formatted properly in the newly opened tab.
