The Instinct version of Loopt supports background location. We hope to be able to expand that technology to new devices in the future.

Hi,

The pictures you post using Loopt are located in your Loopt journal. You can access your journal from your phone within Loopt or on your computer by logging into your account at www.loopt.com. The photos are not stored in a singled photos folder. They are in your journal and listed based on the time and journal entry in which you included them.

Once you go to Get New Application, you will have to look in some of the categories there since Verizon moves us around from time to time. Look in any categories like Social, Games, Applications, Social Networking, etc. We're in there, but we get moved around from time to time.

Allen - It's part of a maintenance release we hope to send to Sprint soon. No specific dates at this time though.

This problem is normally caused by an old version of Loopt. You’ll need to install the latest version of Loopt to fix it. To do so, go to Menu, then Games & Apps, highlight the Loopt icon, and hit the Menu key (to the left of the OK key). Choose the Deinstall option, confirm that you want to remove Loopt, and when it’s done, choose “Done.” You will be back at the Games & Apps screen. Select the Download Apps icon with the colored triangle. Next, choose the Re-Downloads option, and choose the listing for Loopt that is closes to the top, and hit Get It in the lower left of the screen. It should download and install the latest version. View the instructions is lists, and then choose Exit in the lower right.

Now you should be back at the Java Apps screen. Scroll down to Loopt to highlight it and hit the Menu key to the left of the OK/Select key. Choose Update/Install, and you can choose to save your current data. It will install the newest version of Loopt. Choose Done in the lower right when it finishes, and now you can run Loopt and login into your Loopt account.

A comment on the question "Phones not listed?" in Loopt:

Mike - We're unlikely to be able to support the Centro in the near future, but thanks for letting us know about your interest in that device!
