A comment on the idea "Showing as offline to Windows Live Messenger widgets" in Yoono:

If this was the case then statuses from Digsby or Trillian should be shown as offline too but it comes up as online with them. Yoono is the only one I've seen not work. There may be more that I don't know of. – Lorenzo, on September 16, 2009 00:40

I am signed into Live Messenger through Yoono and the Live Messenger widgets on my Facebook page and personal website don't show me as online. They show as offline. When I sign in through the Live messenger desktop client the website widgets work, showing me online. This doesnt seem to be a privacy settings issue so, what gives?

DLC if you add ping.fm and the twip.me bots then you'll have better reliability because when Twip is down pingfm is usually up and the opposite tend to be true. This way you'll at least make 1 somewhat reliable service out of 2 not so reliable services. ;)

I just found another site that post from WLM to Twitter. The bot is always online and works. The site is http://twip.me/ and I use it to update Twitter and use Facebook's Twitter app to update Facebook with Twitter status. http://twip.me/ doesn't have any other social sites though, just Twiitter. Hope it helps.

The bot has been online for a week now but there's a new issue. The bot doesn't seem to be posting to my Twitter. I've already sent in the confirmation message and it had posted in the past. I'll try again, hopefully it will work.
