Lou reported a problem in JamLegend on September 11, 2008 15:03:
Songs can't start on this machineWhen I go to start a song, the countdown counts down, and then when the first note(s) get half-way down the screen, they hang there, and bounce up and down, then the song doesn't progress any further. However, it does work on another machine. Maybe a flash issue? what versions of flash need to be installed?
This happens in FF3 and IE6. I'd try Chrome, but that won't install due to Symantec Endpoint Protection causing an error.

Looks like mine disappeared the other day... Have no clue why though. Unless something like TweetDeck could've broken it, but I've never heard of that happening... It's pretty weak to only have one or two hours worth of updates readable anywhere. Tried the mobile page, the standard page, tried putting in ?page=2 after the url, doesn't show in tweetdeck... Seriously annoying.-

oh, i missed this before dinner... in my recent stream, at 8:41pm, the following message was posted:

I sent that from my phone in the drive-thru on my way to work this morning. that's a 13 hour delay. Yet i've been emailing other addy's all day long without delay. Including another one or so that went through while I was at work.

The cost for mobile usage on my phone is ridiculous, so I haven't tried that yet. Although since the mobile interface is pretty much the same as the web one, I'm sure it'd work fine.
I guess I'm just going to have to deal with it then, and update things separately when mobile, and use ping.fm when i'm near a comp.

Thanks Sean and Adam for your quick replies. I don't know why it's having an issue with email. I use my mobile phone for emailing all sorts of stuff to other services (twitter, twitpic, fubar, brightkite, flickr, etc) and it works just fine. I am using a Virgin Mobile phone, are there any known issues with that? The address pics are sent from is generally ##########@vmpix.com and normal text email address is something like ##########@vmobl.com. Have no clue why the separation, but that's how it's set up.
I have my default posting method set up to Micro-blogs so I can update Twitter, Tumblr, and Brightkite simultaneously, since I don't blog often mobile. And I didn't get the message from the bot for either the verification message or the normal message after that. It just said it was offline.
So far, I've had some mobile messages take hours to post, and some that haven't posted at all. It's defying all logic to me.
And just to test (and doublecheck the normal text email addy for my phone), I emailed my gmail account, and showed up *instantly*. I'm just confused now haha.
Thanks for all the help though, and hopefully it's something that can be remedied easily! :D

Why is it that posts via our secret email address take hours and hours to show up?Why is it that posts via our secret email address take hours and hours to show up? And so far I have yet to see a post show up from the Windows Live Messenger bot. No bueno. Is this just how things are?
