A comment on the question "Run Carousel remotely" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Maybe.... Can this RDA lock the "switch" and prevent the scheduler from changing to a video program? Emergency bulletins need to stay on until canceled – Lou, on August 05, 2009 21:49

A comment on the question "how do i get autopilot to schedule the correct event and device?" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Problem "Solved"! The program we were running was listed in the show file as a DVD not an mpeg file. What I'm confused about is this show ran on our public channel without any problem. – Lou, on July 31, 2009 20:26
A comment on the question "how do i get autopilot to schedule the correct event and device?" in Tightrope Media Systems:
No. Autopilot works correctly if there's DVD in the player. I need the Gov't channel to "default" and play a file on the server. – Lou, on July 31, 2009 18:56

how do i get autopilot to schedule the correct event and device?Scheduling show on our public channel works fine. However, until now, I never tried to run a show on our gov't channel. After setting a show time with the scheduler, I run autopilot.. that works OK but the input is set for the DVD player and not the video server. I know the configuration is wrong but I make sense of the manual and everything I check on cablecast appears correct. How do I change the video source and Knox switch position for autopilot?

How to setup VODWe have a VOD server but we haven't gotten working. I've looked thru the manuals but there isn't much of the setup. I could use a good but brief "How to"

Schedule's calendar control is "overlapped" by the scheduleThe Schedule Calender does not appear correctly. It's partially blocked by the schedule display
A comment on the question "schedule" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Well, I wouldn't say "forever". I'd like to have a fixed day schedule for all "series" shows. When a new show of "Fun with dogs" comes in Oct., I just want to replace the show not the schedule. However, maybe every quarter or so I'd shake up the schedule so things don't get too stale. – Lou, on September 06, 2008 22:15
A comment on the question "schedule" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Yes, JJ. I use the block copy feature. Unfortunately, I only helps a little. Maybe you should make block copy work for a month. Even with that, it falls short. – Lou, on September 06, 2008 21:54

scheduleScheduling: I'd like to able to schedule by day of the week and not by date. Is that feature coming anytime soon? or will you add it?

mpeg2 in and out pointsI have a DVD with more than 20 PSAs. Is there a way for cablecast to play these PSAs individually? I.e set "in and out" points on the mpeg file.

text messageIs it possible to get a "text" only version of all the Bulletin board messages on Carousel?
An "auto reply" email could give a viewer all the events via email message.
Lou marked one of John Reilly's replies in Tightrope Media Systems as useful. John Reilly replied to the question "Is there support for (or will there be) Openoffice.org?".
A comment on the question "Is there support for (or will there be) Openoffice.org?" in Tightrope Media Systems:
"Impress" of Openoffice.org is a work alike to "Powerpoint" in MS office. I'd like to use it. Your manual saids you support powerpoint – Lou, on August 16, 2008 16:40
