View and search typeface meta dataIt would be awesome to see some meta data on the typefaces. (year released, designer, etc).
It would be even awesome-er to be able to find faces using that info. For example, the ability to see all faces by Mark Simonson or to see all the faces released in the 1980's.
It kind of takes some of the fun out of researching a face, but would be a really helpful tool.-

Travis Gertz reported a problem in Rogers on December 05, 2008 18:15:
Who called text messages have to go!Rogers has a "feature" that comes with voicemail plans that sends you a text message alert you miss a call.
This is intended to show you missed calls if your phone is turned off or out of range. They also happen to send you a text message when a person leaves a voicemail. Oh, and you can't remove it from your plan (I've tried through customer service but was told it was impossible unless I downgraded my whole plan).
So... if someone calls and I miss it and they leave a voicemail (even with the phone on), I get:
- Missed call alert from the phone itself
- Text message from Rogers indicating I've missed a call
- A voicemail alert from my phone
- Text message from Rogers indicating I have a voicemail
- The voicemail itself
This is an annoying amount of redundant information for a useless feature that can't be turned off. If I receive something important enough while my phone is off the caller will leave a voicemail. That's all I need.-

Travis Gertz shared an idea in Shaw on September 30, 2008 21:05:
Faster upload speeds! If Shaw would increase the upload speed on it's Nitro package (25Mb/s down & 1Mb/s up) from it's paltry 1Mb/s to something a little more useful like say, 5Mb/s I would pay $100/m in a second.
Right now the upload speed is the same as my current package (Xtreme - 10Mb/s), but the package costs double.
I'm sorry Shaw, if you want to double the price of your package you need to increase the upload speed in addition to the download speed. 1Mb/s doesn't cut.
I know several others agree.
Travis Gertz reported a problem in Xplornet on July 21, 2008 17:04:
Not even close to high speed Internet. This service has been marginally better than dial-up internet access. We use the satellite service with a 1Mb/s download. I know this isn't very fast anyway, but we're averaging a measly 200-250Kb down.
The real kicker is if you attempt to download anything over a few MB you get "FAP'd" and they throttle your connection down to about 10-15kb/s. This means, no software updates, You Tube Videos, or even music downloads. Even when we do speed tests we get FAP'd!
I'm not expecting much for satellite Internet but don't advertise 1Mb down and charge me for it when you can only deliver 20% of that.
