For now, I am actually setting 2 reminders.

remind me of event at 2pm today

remind me of reminder about "2pm event" at 10am today

Its more typing, but it does what it is suppose to.

I think you can have it just sms too, but that's not what your asking for is it?

I'd like to see this on individual items. Some items are email reminder type items (or just put into the digest) and some are important enough for texts. This would save texting minutes too.

ok, so I figured out that twitter doesn't support update and forget. :-(

Can one of you official people give an estimate as to when these features will be up?

Hopefully it will be soon. I'd like to be able to use Sandy on my cell phone and I can't get the sms to work. (she can send things to me, but I can't reply).

Not updating via twitter

I am probably doing something wrong, but I can't get this to work.

I'm using sandy over twitter and it seems to work great, but I tried updating a todo and i get the welcome message. Heres the convo:

me: d s l @todo
s: direct from s:
first result: Get friend to sign up for festival. (Fri, 11/30/2007 6:00pm) @internet @todo
me: d s u 1 @done @archive -@todo
s: direct from s: Hi, I'm Sandy...

And nothing happens to my item.
What's wrong?

I wish that bcc just added the email to the friends list, but not contact them. That way I can use sandy to look up email addresses when I am not at my computer (using twitter). Is there a way to add friends without sandy contacting them?

I agree with this one. My work week is tuesday through Friday. I wish I could set sandy to not send we weekday reminders on monday.

Web Accessibility in Sandy's web forms

In the web forms on the website, the button is not disability accessible. At least, It doesn't seem to have any alternate text that a page reader can read or select.
I have one of these devices and want to use sandy. Is there any way some alternate text could be added to the buttons? Especially the sign in form?

(If its just html, it can't be that hard!)

Hi,
I am a student and just started using Sandy. It seems great! One thing though. I would like to be able to tell Sandy my class schedule and have it included in digest, but I don't need reminders for every class. The digest would help me plan the day, but once I'm at school, I'm pretty good at remembering to go to my next class. :-)

Is there any way to get Sandy to do this? Like maybe a @NoRemind tag or something?

I think the guide said something about putting in quote dates you want Sandy to treat as text.

I haven't tried it, though.
