Lance-
I agree that being able to separate the weather outlook would be a great feature.
Until that happens, here's what we do with our three day outlook.
So far it's worked great and it's fairly easy to read.
Our three day outlook is sized 656 x 483 pixels. (That's the gray box area size)
Our overall channel dimensions are 1024 x 768.
We use the Arial font and have the size set to Autosize.
When we originally setup our weather outlook, the size was too small to read when there was a lot of info, but since we changed to the current format, I haven't noticed any problems.
It could be better (putting one day on one page would solve that) but at least right now we can use the outlook and our viewers can read it.

Embedded Audio on Matrox SDI BoxI'm converting my channel to SDI. We have a Matrox box for our Carousel. I read online that the Matrox box can output embedded audio through the SDI output.
My question: is there anything I need to do to activate the embedded audio? Or is the audio already outputting when I connect the cable to the SDI output on the Matrox?

Cablecast Program Start/Kill DateHere's a feature I'd like to see.
The ability to set a start and end date for Cablecast programs. Just like one of my favorite infomercials, I'd like to set it and forget it!
I envision this start and end date system working similar to scheduling bulletins in Carousel, where I input a start date on a calendar and then input an end or kill date.
If a program is scheduled to air after that end date, it's listed on the schedule in that pinkish-red color that Cablecast schedule errors appear in.-

Carousel Jumping to Black Before Playing VideosToday for the first time we aired a .mpg in our Carousel. Right before the video played, our Carousel went to black (entire screen) then reappeared with the video playing in the correct zone.
Can anyone tell me why the entire screen went black for that one or two seconds?
A comment on the idea "Feature Request: Restricting Font Size and Font Types" in Tightrope Media Systems:
I completely agree with that. It would save us time and frustration from fixing submitted bulletins. – Jeff M, on May 07, 2009 13:40
