You will get some error messages when you install it in vista ultimate, it does not however affect the installation. just ignore thous and after your done click the spotify icon.

What happens is that the installation program wants you to be admin of the computer but the client(the program itself) requires that you have to run it as a user (not admin). My computer knowledge is somewhat limited so it's kinda hard for me to explain but I'll hope this will help you. If after this explanation you still cant get it to work let me know and I'll try to help you further,

Seems to work no what I did is that I unchecked the 2 boxes that said:

"Start spotify when the instalation is complete"
and
"Create icons for Spotify on the Start Menu and on the Desktop"

in the installation menu

Have the same problem! also running vista ultimate 64

"Spotify was started with administrative rights. Please start Spotify manually to run it as the normal user account"

is the error message
