Found a couple bugs in the call log.A couple bugs in the call log: 1) broken parent call link, and 2) failed outgoing dials missing Called value. The latter would be handy in order to find out why the outgoing call failed.
Lux asked a question in Twilio on February 09, 2009 02:41:
Something odd in the MP3 format of RecordingUrlInitially I thought this was just me, but someone else reported the same issue as well so I thought it best to report it. When I save an mp3 from the RecordingUrl to my desktop, I'm not able to play it in the browser (firefox, safari) or with iTunes or QuickTime. They report an invalid format or in the browser's case show a question mark. I can however open it just fine with Audacity and VLC.
When I was integrating Twilio with Voicecloud, they initially had issues with the mp3 formatting as well. Here was what they said:
"Our mp3 processor doesn't recognize your mp3 format for some reason. So I added an exception that converts it to mp3 again and then continues on its way."
I wonder if there's a setting in the converter that might make the generated mp3s more compatible...

Ah, that would be why I'm not seeing it then. I'm just on the free account since I just registered to try it out.
That's a strange feature to only include in the top-level package, since it means pretty much any company in Canada or many other places can only start on the top package and can't even consider the smaller ones...

Hey John, I believe we're thinking along very similar lines actually. We haven't really announced much of what we've been working on behind the scenes yet since we've got a few lower-level things we need to finish up before launching the next big updates, but analytics are definitely part of the plan :)
Lux replied on January 05, 2009 08:45 to the question "Payment security" in Dojo Learning:
Thanks for the feedback. Paypal is a definite possibility down the road. We've been working on some updates to the site, and one of the ones we know we really need to post soon is some info about the security of our payment processing. We want to provide some clear assurances as a sort of mini-FAQ during the checkout so everyone can see we take security seriously.
Essentially, it will explain that we take all payment details through a secure SSL connection, send the details on to our payment processor through SSL as well, and the credit card info is then erased from our system. We don't store credit card numbers anywhere on our system, only the last 4 digits for reference (so we can show "####-####-####-5432" in subscription receipts) and a confirmation number from the purchase. So even if our security is somehow compromised, there's no sensitive info being stored.
Hopefully that will help reassure customers that we're providing a safe and trustworthy service. If you have any additional suggestions on how we can improve it further, we'd love to hear them :)

No sound from one end of a 'Dial' placed callI've had a problem a couple times where when I'm connected to a call via the Dial tag, I can hear the person who answers the call just fine, but the person cannot hear me. I've placed 4-5 calls and this happens about half the time it seems.
Not sure if it helps, but I'm dialing in from a landline and using the Dial tag to connect to a mobile phone.
Any help or anything I can do on my end would be great. Thanks!
