i'm getting the same error with twitteriffic on mac and Spaz on pc. I don't run them at the same time, even changed my password to be sure. I'm also not using any other apps/sites like SocialThing.

Same problem. Using Windows XP SP2. I tried deleting config files. I was prompted to create a new account in Twhirl, but when I did, I got the same error message.

I seem to be getting an error with twitter syncing as well.
When i add the twitter module it seems to find my account.. but when i go to view my lifestream i get this message 'twitter: There was an error fetching data' hopefully that helps out a bit.

Just said "Login failed for twitter" then went back to normal. Not sure why.

Anything I'd need to do to get it to work? I'm like the original note above -- I still have to retype my usename each time I visit the site. The "keep me logged in" thing doesn't seem to be working.

So, this means that if I use Twitterfox to see what my Twitter updates are, and publish my Twitters on my log, I exceed 70 requests to twitter an hour? How's that possible?? It's not as if I am constantly hitting the refresh button or anything :(

These are the types of bugs I loathe... I would almost rather you were still having the problem, so that I could track it further. I'm glad it's working now, and yes, you're probably right about it being on Twitter's end. Twitter's website version and API version (the one we use) don't always seem to be in sync with each other as far as whether one is down for maintenance, etc.

I've got the feeling something has been slightly off with the authorization in Twitter in the last days. I tried to access Twitter from both Thwirl and SocialThing! and got error messages saying that I couldn't log in with that username and password, even though I knew it was correct.

When I tried several hours later, things worked. Weird.

Well, what I'd love is to get a reminder via SocialThing! that a task I inputted in RTM is due on the due date.

Now that I am thinking of it .... I think I'm asking for something that's in essence already there because RTM can send reminders via Twitter. I need only to turn my own twitters on. Doh!

Trouble staying logged in

I have trouble staying logged in. I keep on checking the box that says "Keep me logged in" but every time I return, I need to input my username again.
My computer accepts cookies and I have no trouble staying logged in at other sites. Any ideas?
