Is the frame and headboard you are using Hook-On or Bolt-On? If you have a Bolt-On system, you can adapt this size difference using a Bed Claw Modi-Plate, which you can see at this link: http://www.homeplaceparts.com/product...

Kiersten, typically, the center leg is a glide and is the same height as the others with rollers. Another words, both the rollers and glide, once installed are the same height. Hope that clears that up for you.
