I am also very confused. The user interface is inconsistent -- seems there are four places I can view: update the profile, upload my resume, view my resume, or see the TalentSpring front page.

The videos I've seen of this got my hopes up, but I've replaced my resume with an empty file until I can see some "dashboard" and the site's interface matures.
