I signed up for jot.ly but never received a confirmation email. I tried resetting the password but it still does not let me log in, it appears my account is not yet active.

I am also experiencing this issue and I have a feeling it is proxy related. Are you using the OSX global proxy settings? The app itself does not appear to allow for the settings.
