Hi David. We're using a range of methods for searching the different sites and they'll continue to evolve over the coming weeks. Given the way that many social networking sites keep much of their data out of view from search engines it is unlikely that HowSociable will ever find everything. However, we are focused on doing the best job possible so you may find, in time, that HowSociable becomes more effective than alternative approaches of spotting things. Sorry we can't be more specific about how it works. I hope this helps.

We're currently updating the scores everyday. When you request a new brand it is done immediately while you wait.

The site is being developed on an ongoing basis, we hope to add more advanced features in the near future.
