Spock understands if you are uncomfortable with your information being on the Web. Please see our About Page which gives you steps on how to maintain and check where you are on the Web. Unfortunately to fully remove yourself from everything this includes a lot of paperwork and time.
Our suggestion is to use Spock as a launching pad for all the areas you're on the web. With Spock you can control the information that's presented about you by using the voting triangles to vote down erroneous information.

Maia replied on January 28, 2008 21:18 to the problem "Why is there no search result for my name?" in Spock:
Hi Adrienne - This is probably because you haven't been included in the search index yet, since you signed up so recently. We don't yet have real-time indexing; instead, we periodically add all new sign-ups to the search index so that they will be included in the search results. If you check back later, you should be able to find yourself.

Hi Jeff,
You should still be able to login to your Spock account using your old work email as a login, even if you don't have access to the email account. Once you're logged in, you can request another validation email to your AOL account.
The reason you weren't getting the validation email was because you had previously unsubscribed that email address. I went ahead and and re-subscribed your AOL address so that you will get your validation email.
