WHATS GOING ON WITH GRAPE? DEAD? ALIVE?Well eons ago I was hoping to get on the grape beta. I would still love to but I fear this project is dead.

This is my main disappointment as well, Shadows and 3D icons need to be better. I read the Wiki info but I think most of us are really confused at how much BT changed from the TED Demo. The Rendering engine was probably different then. It rendered the desktop much better than what we have now. So why was that given up? Was it running on Linux? No Idea? A Graphics Powerhouse?
I think most people now have pretty powerful machines that can run BT quite well. Gosh I can even run BT in a virtual Machine within Parallels and it is speedy and stable. What does this say... BT is not a resource hog. Possibly the pipes should open up a little and start adding back the awesome stuff seeing that the developers have plenty of overhead to work with.-

Shadow, like I said initially the clock did not work but they fixed the issue. I have not tried any of the others. Again Bump 2 Time... Works. Also the machine that I have it working on is XP sp2 with Net framework 3.0 only.... it did not need 3.5. Oh ya I think I forgot to say that .... It Works! – Chris, on April 16, 2009 11:06

They work at least the clock works. I was having issues until they uploaded a working version so if you D/L'ed it within the last week D/Led it again. Again they work.... you must be installing it wrong. – Chris, on April 15, 2009 08:13-

But how do you setup your test machines.... I'm sure there are things that you have to install first when starting from a freshly installed OS. There is something that we are all overlooking and not installing. Heres so help
#0 Fresh install in Parallels Desktop of XP sp2 or Fresh Install on hardware
#1 Nvidia 182.50 Drivers
#2 Follow the Tech Docs provided by BumpTop
#3 Install -Visual C++ 2005 redistributables
Thats all that BumpT tells us we should install.... but I think you are installing something else to get it to work.
